PROJECT:  Adaptation of a neoclassical building in Kolonaki - Athens for DKNY

CLIENT: TOP KAT S.A.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
 
Design of the adaptation of an old building of stone walls in Kolonaki - Athens and transformation into a multi-storey shop, building a new structure inside the old one.
 
The project is a reinforced concrete structure that maintains the perimeter stone walls of the old building. These walls were attached to the reinforced concrete frame of a new project.
 
The surface of the building in plan is 160m2 per floor and comprises of 4 floors and one basement. All floors are of reinforced concrete (voided slabs) except the last one which is made from structural steel and structural wood.
 
The design was completed at the end of April, a formal permission was issued and the store opened in next September (work undertaken by the construction company)



The project has been completed and is in operation.
