Complete structural design of private projects
As already described in the "Services" section, the office designs also private projects with the extent and quality of large public ones. These designs fully supported during construction with photos and "as built " drawings. The total cost of the design and the corresponding construction is significantly lower than average construction in country.
Here are two of them:
A residence with total area 585m2 in plan, reinforced concrete with difficult architectural configuration, divided in a basement and 3 levels above ground and 70m2 of structural wooden roof. This design included the design of earth retaining structures of landscaping and a pool.
A 5 storey block of flats with area of 170m2, in plan per storey, reinforced concrete, with a basement.
To these projects were prepared detailed drawings with and without reinforcements, reinforcement details and rebars cut / shape list. The office was supervising the construction and made "as built" drawings, technical report at every construction stage and taken photos, with commentaries, per stage covering all the project.
The quantities of materials and work (that is the final cost) was optimized so that not only the cost of design and supervision absorbed but beyond, always in relation to a conventional project. So apart from the unusual, for the Greek standards, quality of work, the final cost was less and there was total control of quantities of materials (concrete, steel, polystyrene, etc.) upon delivery at every construction stage on site.
Here are presented some photos but we would suggest the discuss on a specific project for which, before the design begins, the owner could have estimated construction costs (in terms of materials) and for services for the design and supervision. Also can be presented designs prepared in this way so to prove in a very simple way, even for those not familiar, the increased quality.
The experience of this office and the commitment to a higher quality of services, regardless of project size, are key factors for an investment that complies with the requirements of architectural design, modern technology and standards, control of construction costs and will ultimately cost less than another similar project.
