BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
 
Structural design of caissons to replace the contractual so to fit the contactors equipment with key modification the change of length from 20.9m to 29.9m .
 
The design includes:

  1. Structural design and construction drawings for three different typical cellular caissons:
  • Breakwater (type 2 ). Design includes detailed calculations and design drawings based on general assumptions of contractual design but tailored to the specifics of the equipment of joint venture with construction cost optimization.
  • Quay (type 3). Design includes detailed calculations and construction drawings in similar logic of what is stated for the breakwater.
  • Quay in port section A13 - A13 ' (type 4 and 4a ). Design of one short caisson with one variation similarely designed with that of type 3
  1. Redesign of construction drawings for the superstructure of the port
  2. Update the affected port design drawings
  3. Modification design and construction drawings for the floating sliding formwork for the fabrication of caisson, including all auxiliary equipment (floors , inspection track, etc ). This design based on the existing, incomplete initial construction drawings and from on-site measurements.
 
The project has been completed successfully in terms of modifications of the floating sliding formwork.
The construction of the structural part of the port (Caissons and superstructures) is underway.
